Shiba Inu’s Shibarium Testnet Makes Waves with 10 Million Transactions Milestone

The Puppynet testnet of Shibarium, a layer2 solution for the Shiba Inu ecosystem on Ethereum, has reached a significant milestone with over 10 million transactions completed. This achievement reflects the widespread adoption and usage of the platform by community members.

Despite the mainnet not being fully launched yet, the team made the Puppynet testnet available to the public a few weeks ago. As reported by Puppyscan, the testnet has processed 10.3 million transactions and 921,214 blocks at the time of writing. The network boasts an average block time of 5 seconds and has accumulated over 15 million wallet addresses.

Starting from mid-May, the daily transactions on the network have been steadily increasing. Since May 12, the network has consistently averaged over 300,000 daily transactions.

Shiba Inu Burn Rate

In addition, the heightened network activity has resulted in greater utility for Shiba Inu and has caused the rate of burning SHIB tokens to increase. According to Shibburn data, over the past seven days alone, more than 3 billion SHIB tokens have been burned. As a result of these burns, there has been a slight decrease in the overall supply of SHIB tokens, although it still remains above 589.3 trillion tokens.

The Shiba Inu community has expressed its desire for Twitter’s new CEO, Linda Yaccarino, to incorporate the SHIB token into the social media platform and has extended their support to facilitate this integration.

Ragnar Shib, a prominent member of the ShibArmy community, took to Twitter and tweeted, “If there are any obstacles in integrating @Shibtoken with Twitter, please inform us. We have the most loyal, helpful, and largest community in the cryptocurrency world.”

Although there are no guarantees regarding the integration, the community is thrilled to note that Yaccarino follows the official SHIB account as well as other crypto projects, raising their excitement and anticipation.
