- Bitget now offers eligible users access to US stock options alongside crypto and other financial markets.
- The launch expands Bitget’s Stock+ ecosystem with new tools for hedging and market speculation.
- More advanced options strategies are expected to arrive as Bitget strengthens its multi-asset platform.
Bitget is broadening its reach beyond digital assets by introducing US stock options trading, marking another step toward blending traditional finance with cryptocurrency services. The latest addition allows eligible users to trade US-listed stock options alongside cryptocurrencies, tokenized stocks, forex, commodities, indices, and contracts for difference (CFDs) from a single platform.
The move positions Bitget as one of the few major crypto exchanges offering access to multiple asset classes under one roof, giving traders more flexibility without switching between different brokers or investment platforms.
Bitget Adds Stock Options to Its Trading Ecosystem
The new service launches with two of the most commonly used options strategies: long calls and long puts.
A long call allows traders to speculate that a stock’s price will rise before the option expires. A long put, meanwhile, enables traders to profit from falling prices or hedge against losses in stocks they already own. In both cases, the maximum potential loss is limited to the premium paid for the option, although contracts can expire worthless if market expectations are not met.
The rollout expands Bitget’s existing Stock+ platform, which already provides access to tokenized stocks and selected pre-IPO investment opportunities. By introducing stock options, the exchange is giving users additional ways to trade earnings events, market volatility, and portfolio risk.
Rising Interest in US Options Trading
Bitget’s expansion comes as demand for options trading continues to grow across US financial markets. Industry figures show that more than 15.2 billion options contracts were active in 2025, with average daily trading volumes approaching 60 million contracts.
The growth reflects increasing participation from both retail and institutional investors, who are using options not only for speculation but also for hedging and portfolio management.
As interest in diversified investing grows, platforms that combine digital assets with traditional financial products are attracting greater attention from traders seeking a more unified investing experience.
Bitget Signals Broader Financial Ambitions
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said the company has consistently worked to connect users with stock market opportunities and views the addition of options as another milestone in bringing traditional and digital finance closer together.
The exchange also confirmed that more advanced multi-leg options strategies are expected to roll out in the near future, expanding the range of trading tools available to eligible users.
To encourage adoption, Bitget is offering eligible US users who complete their first stock options trade a promotional reward of $15 worth of NVIDIA stock, subject to availability and campaign terms.

Bitget’s entry into US stock options trading highlights the growing convergence between cryptocurrency exchanges and traditional financial markets. By combining crypto, stocks, options, forex, commodities, and CFDs within a single platform, the company is positioning itself to meet the evolving needs of traders seeking broader market access. As additional options strategies become available, Bitget’s multi-asset approach could appeal to investors looking for greater flexibility in managing both opportunity and risk.
