Pi Network, the cryptocurrency project that has generated significant buzz over the past few years, is gearing up for its long-awaited mainnet launch in Q1 2025. With the launch date fast approaching, the Pi Core Team has been actively engaging with its community, urging users—referred to as “Pioneers”—to complete essential steps to ensure a smooth transition.

In a recent social media update, the Pi Core Team highlighted the importance of the migration process, urging users to prioritize completing the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification. The KYC process, which is set to close on January 31, is crucial for Pioneers to be able to transfer their tokens to the Mainnet once it launches. The deadline is fast approaching, and Pi users are encouraged to complete their KYC procedures well in advance.

The team emphasized the collective responsibility of the Pi community, with Pioneers encouraged to spread the word to their downlines, ensuring that as many users as possible are prepared for the migration. The deadline is rapidly approaching, and the goal is for all eligible Pioneers to seamlessly transition to the new network by the time the mainnet goes live.

Merchants are also being encouraged to integrate Pi Coin as a payment method in both physical and digital marketplaces. This move will be pivotal in establishing Pi as a usable currency, allowing businesses to accept Pi as payment in exchange for goods and services.

On the development side, the Pi Core Team has approved 20 apps to be launched on the mainnet, signaling an expanding ecosystem. Developers are urged to finalize any outstanding work on decentralized applications (dApps) to ensure they are ready for deployment when the mainnet is activated.
