Stellar (XLM) Eyes New All-Time High After 40% Surge in 2025 – Can the Rally Continue?

Stellar (XLM) made headlines in 2024 with a stunning 600% price surge, peaking at $0.64 on November 24. After this impressive rally, a correction was inevitable, but Stellar has bounced back strongly in 2025, rising by nearly 40%. As the cryptocurrency community looks to the future, the big question is whether Stellar can reclaim its momentum and break past key resistance levels to achieve a new all-time high.

Stellar’s Strong Start to 2025

Despite a relatively quiet 2024, Stellar made a remarkable comeback with a powerful rally in November 2024. This surge took XLM to a resistance level that had been holding firm since its all-time high in 2017. Although XLM was unable to break this resistance, it successfully surpassed the $0.40 horizontal resistance level, a barrier that had persisted since 2021. Currently, XLM is in the process of validating $0.40 as support, a crucial step toward building upward momentum.

The excitement around Stellar is further fueled by positive news. The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) recently announced the Stellar Community Fund 6.1, which aims to fund new projects with grants of up to $150,000. This initiative is likely to inspire further innovation and adoption within the Stellar ecosystem, offering additional support for XLM’s price growth.

Technical Analysis: What’s Next for XLM?

On the technical front, XLM’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) are both in bullish territory. However, their momentum has waned in recent weeks, casting doubt on the immediate future direction. Despite this, the long-term wave count suggests that XLM may be in the midst of a new five-wave bullish cycle, with the potential for a significant breakout.

If the current pattern holds, the price could rise to $0.83, and potentially as high as $1.16, depending on the trajectory of the fifth wave. While $0.83 would not surpass the previous all-time high, $1.16 would mark a new peak for Stellar.

Will XLM Achieve a New All-Time High?

The possibility of a new all-time high in 2025 remains a key topic of discussion. While short-term indicators are inconclusive, the long-term trend points to a strong potential for further price growth. Should Stellar break out of its current consolidation phase, a new upward movement could be on the horizon. However, whether XLM will surpass its previous high remains to be seen, with market conditions and broader cryptocurrency trends playing a significant role in determining its future.
