John E Deaton, the lawyer known for supporting XRP, recently made a Twitter post to inform his 272.4k followers about the highly anticipated hearings and resolutions in the US Federal Court. In response to a tweet by Paul Grewal, the Chief Legal Officer of Coinbase, Deaton confidently stated that this Wednesday would hold significant importance for the cryptocurrency industry.

Grewal, in his tweet, listed the extraordinary events set to occur tomorrow. These events encompass the hearing regarding the SEC’s motion to freeze Binance’s assets, the release of the Hinman documents, and the SEC’s response to Coinbase’s petition.

Last week, the Securities and Exchange Commission took action by filing a motion to freeze the assets of troubled crypto exchange Binance, a move that would impact numerous accounts associated with the exchange. The hearing for this case is scheduled for June 13, 2023, in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Likewise, the contentious Hinman documents, anticipated to be a pivotal moment in the SEC-Ripple conflict, are slated to be unveiled on Wednesday. According to Deaton’s tweet, these documents will significantly affect the SEC’s lawsuit against Ripple and other exchanges.

Prominent cryptocurrency firm Coinbase submitted a petition to the SEC, seeking regulatory clarity. When the regulatory body delayed its response to the petition, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit directed the SEC to provide a response within seven days, which is expected to occur on June 13.

Contemplating the upcoming events, Grewal remarked, “Not every day in federal court brings significant developments in the crypto world, but tomorrow does,” and he further expressed, “May the US Courts be blessed by God.”

In response to Grewal’s statement, Deaton mentioned that tomorrow would also witness the arraignment of former US President Donald Trump.

According to reports, Trump has arrived in Florida for his initial court appearance scheduled for June 13. He faces charges related to mishandling the nation’s security secrets and refusing to cooperate with authorities in their document recovery efforts.
