- H100 Group reported a 98 million Swedish kronor ($10.3 million) Q2 pre-tax loss.
- The company now holds 3,506 BTC worth about $226 million, making it Europe’s second-largest Bitcoin treasury.
- H100 shares have fallen 24% year to date, highlighting investor concerns around its Bitcoin exposure.
Sweden-listed health-tech and Bitcoin treasury company H100 Group posted a sharp loss in the second quarter of 2026, with Bitcoin’s price decline weighing heavily on its reported results. The company recorded a pre-tax loss of 98 million Swedish kronor ($10.3 million) for the quarter and 253 million kronor for the first six months of the year.
The figures come as H100 accelerates its Bitcoin treasury strategy and expands its cryptocurrency holdings, making the company one of Europe’s largest corporate Bitcoin holders.
Bitcoin Price Decline Drives H100 Loss
H100 Group said much of its second-quarter loss came from a non-cash impairment linked to the decline in Bitcoin’s price during the period. The accounting charge affected reported earnings but did not represent an equivalent cash outflow.
Despite the steep bottom-line loss, operating income remained relatively stable. H100 generated 3 million kronor in operating income during Q2, unchanged from the same period in 2025.
For the first half of 2026, operating income reached 6.1 million kronor, compared with 5.8 million kronor a year earlier.
The results highlight the contrast between H100’s underlying operating business and the volatility created by its growing Bitcoin exposure.
H100 Becomes Europe’s No. 2 Bitcoin Treasury
H100 significantly expanded its Bitcoin position earlier this month after acquiring two smaller Norwegian Bitcoin treasury companies and their cryptocurrency assets.
The transactions lifted H100’s holdings to 3,506 BTC, valued at roughly $226 million based on the figures provided. That put the company just behind Germany’s Bitcoin Group, which held 3,605 BTC, according to BitcoinTreasuries data.
The move reinforces H100’s strategy of building a sizable Bitcoin reserve alongside its health-tech operations. However, the larger cryptocurrency position also increases the company’s sensitivity to Bitcoin price swings and the accounting impact of those movements.
H100 Stock Faces Additional Pressure
Investors have responded cautiously to the company’s Bitcoin-heavy strategy. H100 shares fell 4.2% on Tuesday, extending their decline for 2026 to 24%.
The stock performance underscores the risks facing publicly traded companies that use Bitcoin as a treasury asset. While rising BTC prices can increase the value of their holdings, downturns can create substantial accounting losses and pressure investor sentiment.
For H100, the challenge will be balancing its expanding Bitcoin strategy with sustainable operating performance. Its latest results show that the company’s Bitcoin exposure has become a major factor in both its financial statements and market valuation.

H100 Group’s second-quarter results illustrate the opportunities and risks of corporate Bitcoin accumulation. Although operating income edged higher in the first half, Bitcoin-related impairment charges produced a substantial reported loss. With 3,506 BTC now on its balance sheet, future Bitcoin price movements are likely to remain central to H100’s financial performance and investor outlook.
