- Turing Space will represent the Netherlands at Forum InCyber, Europe’s largest cybersecurity event.
- Its Turing Certs platform uses IOTA to issue and verify digital credentials globally.
- The company is expanding across Europe while exploring quantum-resistant identity systems.
Thousands of cybersecurity professionals, policymakers, and technology leaders will gather in France later this month for one of Europe’s biggest digital security events. Among the companies representing the Netherlands is Turing Space, a startup building decentralized identity solutions powered by IOTA.
The company will participate in Forum InCyber, a major cybersecurity and digital trust conference taking place from March 31 to April 2 in Lille, France. Selected by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in France, Turing Space will join a group of 14 Dutch startups presenting innovative solutions aimed at strengthening global cyber resilience.
Dutch Cybersecurity Startups Take the Global Stage
Forum InCyber has become Europe’s largest cybersecurity event since its launch in 2007. Each year, it attracts more than 20,000 participants from over 100 countries, including government agencies, private companies, and security experts.
Turing Space CEO Jeff Hu described the selection as an important milestone for the company’s European expansion. After recently establishing its EU headquarters, the firm is now focusing on strengthening digital identity systems and verifiable credentials across the region.
The Dutch delegation will also include startups such as Passguard, which monitors criminal marketplaces for stolen data, and Quantum Gateway Foundation, a group helping organizations adopt post-quantum cybersecurity systems.
Building Verifiable Credentials on IOTA
Founded in 2020, Turing Space provides digital trust infrastructure designed to combat identity fraud and data manipulation. Its credential platform, Turing Certs, enables organizations to issue, manage, and verify digital credentials across multiple industries.
The platform can handle a wide range of documents, including academic diplomas, professional certifications, and ownership records. Its technology has already been used by the World Health Organization to issue digital certificates for volunteers in more than 150 countries. In Taiwan, the system has also helped authenticate over three million renewable energy certificates.
According to company data, the platform can reduce verification times by up to 80% while cutting operational costs roughly in half.
Why IOTA’s Infrastructure Matters
Turing Space’s decentralized credential system operates on the IOTA network, leveraging tools such as IOTA Identity for decentralized IDs and IOTA Notarization for on-chain verification of credential hashes.
Co-founder Henry Hang said IOTA’s architecture—particularly its low transaction costs and sponsored transactions—makes it possible to scale digital identity systems for large enterprises while maintaining an accessible user experience.
Looking ahead, the company plans to explore quantum-resistant encryption technologies. That direction aligns with IOTA’s broader roadmap, including upgrades designed to support post-quantum signatures and stronger digital identity protections.

As digital interactions increasingly require trusted verification, decentralized identity technologies are gaining attention across governments and enterprises. By showcasing its IOTA-based credential platform at Forum InCyber, Turing Space aims to position itself at the center of Europe’s growing digital trust ecosystem.
The event could also highlight how blockchain-based identity solutions may play a key role in securing data and credentials in the next generation of online systems.
