XRP’s recent volatility has sparked renewed interest from market analysts as the token attempts to regain stability. On April 9, XRP surged to $2.08 after a prior dip, before pulling back and recovering slightly to hover near $2.24. This dynamic movement has become a focal point for technical analysts who believe the token is approaching key pivot zones that could define its next major move.

Crucial Support Levels Identified

Crypto analyst Casi Trades highlighted the $2.24 mark as a critical .382 Fibonacci retracement level, pointing to bearish signals across various RSI timeframes. This suggests a possible pause in upward momentum, with potential for a short-term correction. Casi pointed to $1.90 as a significant support zone, aligning with the .5 Fibonacci level—a key area for a potential rebound if the price dips further. She also identified $1.55 as a crucial .618 Fibonacci support, which corresponds to Wave 2 of the Elliott Wave structure, reinforcing its importance in the event of a deeper retracement.

Casi urged traders to focus on broader technical structures rather than reacting emotionally to short-term price swings, encouraging patience and strategy over guesswork.

Short-Term Pullback, Long-Term Outlook Bullish

Echoing this cautious tone, analyst Egrag Crypto warned that if XRP fails to close above the $2.30–$2.50 range on the five-day chart, a dip to $1.85 could occur. Still, Egrag remains long-term bullish, maintaining lofty targets of $7.50, $13, and $27. He also mentioned the possibility of a market-wide liquidation event, stressing the role of external macroeconomic and geopolitical factors in driving crypto volatility.

Legal Uncertainty and Long-Term Utility

Meanwhile, community sentiment around the Ripple-SEC lawsuit remains mixed. Prominent voice All Things XRP warned that a resolution may not spark an immediate price rally. Instead, XRP’s sustainable growth is expected to stem from Ripple’s strategic post-case initiatives—such as forging new partnerships, increasing institutional adoption, and enhancing XRP’s real-world utility.

As XRP’s path forward unfolds, analysts and investors alike are watching both technical patterns and broader developments to guide their decisions.
