- Strategy CEO Phong Le purchased $1 million worth of STRC preferred stock, boosting investor confidence.
- The company increased its U.S. dollar reserves to $1.4 billion while managing STRC obligations.
- Strategy continues its Bitcoin accumulation with holdings now above 847,000 BTC.
Strategy President and CEO Phong Le has made a personal $1 million investment in the company’s STRC preferred stock, signaling confidence in the security despite recent price weakness. The move comes as investors continue watching Strategy’s unique Bitcoin-focused financial strategy and the role STRC plays in funding future cryptocurrency purchases.
Le announced the purchase publicly, saying he plans to hold the shares until they reach their $100 par value and potentially beyond. Following the announcement, STRC shares recovered from earlier losses, rising 1.46% to $89.88 after recently falling below $83.
STRC Recovery Draws Investor Attention
The performance of STRC has become a key issue for Strategy shareholders because the preferred stock is connected to the company’s Bitcoin acquisition strategy. When STRC trades above its $100 par value, Strategy has more flexibility to issue additional shares through its at-the-market offering program.
Funds raised from those sales can support the company’s Bitcoin buying plans. However, with STRC trading below that level, the company’s ability to use the preferred stock as a financing tool has been limited.
The preferred security has also undergone recent changes. Strategy adjusted its dividend structure from monthly payments to a semi-monthly schedule, with both MSTR and STRC shareholders approving the amendment.
Strategy Strengthens Financial Position With More Reserves
Market concerns around STRC increased after Strategy disclosed its first Bitcoin sale. The company sold 32 BTC in late May for approximately $2.5 million, with the proceeds helping cover STRC dividend obligations.
To improve confidence among investors, Strategy reported that its U.S. dollar reserve has grown to $1.4 billion, an increase of roughly $300 million. The company said the funds are designed to support dividend payments, debt commitments, and the credit strength of its Digital Credit securities.
The company also sold 2.71 million MSTR shares during the previous week, generating about $335.5 million.
Strategy Continues Bitcoin Accumulation Strategy
Despite market pressure surrounding STRC, Strategy continues expanding its Bitcoin holdings. Executive Chairman Michael Saylor announced another purchase of 520 Bitcoin worth about $35 million. The acquisition was completed at an average price of $67,068 per BTC.
The latest purchase brings Strategy’s Bitcoin reserve to 847,363 BTC, reinforcing the company’s position as one of the largest corporate holders of the cryptocurrency.
While Le’s STRC investment may boost confidence among investors, the preferred stock’s future performance will likely depend on market conditions, Strategy’s financial management, and the broader outlook for Bitcoin.

Phong Le’s $1 million STRC purchase highlights the company’s commitment to its preferred stock strategy at a time when investors are closely monitoring its financial model. With increased cash reserves and continued Bitcoin accumulation, Strategy is attempting to strengthen confidence while navigating pressure around STRC’s market value.
