Pi Network Accelerates Mainnet Migration Ahead of Open Network Launch

Pi Network is ramping up its Mainnet migration process, aiming to migrate 10 million users before the anticipated Open Network launch in early 2025. With over 9 million Pioneers already transitioned to the Mainnet as of January 2024, the platform has significantly increased its migration speed, processing approximately 200,000 migrations daily.

Faster Migration and Growing Adoption

The accelerated migration process marks a crucial milestone in Pi Network’s roadmap. By streamlining migration and enhancing system efficiency, the team is reducing the time required for users to complete their transition, ensuring a more seamless onboarding experience. These efforts align with Pi Network’s broader goal of establishing a robust, decentralized ecosystem ahead of the Open Network’s debut.

Extended KYC Deadline for Users

In a move to accommodate more users, Pi Network has extended its Grace Period deadline for Know Your Customer (KYC) verification and Mainnet migration to February 28, 2025. This extension provides Pioneers with additional time to complete the necessary KYC and Mainnet Checklist requirements, securing their Pi balances before the Open Network launch.

Why This Matters for Pi Holders

For Pi holders, completing the migration process promptly is essential to fully participate in the network’s decentralized economy. As Pi Network nears its Open Network phase, users who fail to complete KYC and migration may risk losing access to their Pi holdings.

With migration speeds reaching new highs and an extended deadline for verification, Pi Network is taking critical steps to ensure a smooth transition, paving the way for a fully operational and inclusive blockchain ecosystem.
