Solana (SOL) has made a strong comeback, rallying over 6.5% and trading at $180. This surge has caught the eye of prominent market analyst Ali Martinez, who sees echoes of the 2021 bull run in Solana’s current chart patterns.
Martinez draws a parallel between Solana’s current consolidation phase and the lead-up to the explosive growth in July 2021. During that period, SOL skyrocketed from $30 to $214, a staggering 616% increase in just two months. Based on this historical data, Martinez predicts a potential seven-fold price increase for Solana, putting its value at a staggering $1,432.
However, not everyone is as bullish on Solana. A CoinGecko survey revealed that only 10.6% of respondents anticipate SOL surpassing $1,000 this bull cycle. The majority are more conservative, with 25% predicting a price of $300.
Solana has undoubtedly demonstrated impressive performance in the past, with a yearly return of 637%. The recent surge in meme coin launches on its blockchain has further boosted its appeal. Yet, some analysts caution that a $1,000 Solana prediction might be premature. Given that Bitcoin’s last halving occurred just three months ago, the current bull market may still be in its early stages.
