Consensus 2025 Could Propel Pi Network Into the Spotlight, Analyst Says

As Consensus 2025 approaches, anticipation is building within the Pi Network ecosystem. Cryptocurrency analyst Dr Altcoin believes the event will be a pivotal moment for Pi Network, calling it the “best opportunity yet” to catapult the project into mainstream recognition.

Slated for May 14-16 in Toronto, the summit is often dubbed the “Super Bowl of Blockchain” and is expected to attract over 20,000 attendees from 100+ countries. Among the high-profile speakers is Pi Network founder Nicolas Kokkalis, whose rare public appearance is already stirring excitement across the Pi community.

Dr Altcoin emphasized the promotional value of the summit, urging the Pi Core Team (PCT) to act swiftly to capitalize on the moment. He called on the team to finalize two key tasks before the event: the approval of all Know Your Business (KYB) applications and the deployment of decentralized applications (DApps) on the Pi Network.

“Consensus 2025 is a huge opportunity to promote Pi Network – and one of the best so far!” Dr Altcoin posted on X.

The Pi community has long criticized the slow pace of KYB approvals, with some projects, like PiDaoSwap, resorting to launching NFTs on other blockchains due to delays. According to Dr Altcoin, resolving these issues before Kokkalis takes the stage could dramatically boost confidence in Pi’s ecosystem.

Although the content of Kokkalis’ speech remains under wraps, many speculate it will touch on Pi Network’s decentralized growth strategy. Notably, the project has earmarked 65 billion Pi tokens for community mining rewards, signaling a strong commitment to user engagement.

Currently trading at $0.6477, Pi Coin’s price predictions vary widely, with some analysts forecasting a surge to $30 if institutional adoption materializes. However, recent concerns over suspicious activity on Banxa hint at short-term volatility ahead.

With institutional leaders managing over $4 trillion in assets attending Consensus 2025, the stage is set for Pi Network to make a lasting impression—if the PCT can rise to the occasion.
