Binance Shakes Crypto Market: Delisting Spree Targets Shiba Inu (SHIB) Trading Pairs

Binance, the renowned cryptocurrency exchange giant, has made an announcement regarding the removal of the SHIB/AUD trading pair, a move that might shake up Shiba Inu’s landscape. The delisting will become effective on May 26 at 5:00 a.m. UTC.

Binance’s decision to remove the SHIB/AUD trading pair is just the tip of the iceberg. The exchange has unleashed a delisting avalanche that will impact numerous trading pairs, this includes, APT/BRL, AMP/BTC, BEL/ETH, FIS/BRL, GAL/ETH, and GMT/BRL. A few hours later, at 5:00 a.m. UTC, Binance will remove the pairs APE/AUD, AVAX/AUD, AXS/AUD, DOT/AUD, FTM/AUD, LINK/AUD, and SAND/AUD.

Additionally, at 6:00 a.m. UTC, the trading pairs GMT/GBP, JASMY/BTC, KP3R/BNB, REI/BNB, SANTOS/BRL, STMX/BTC, and XTZ/BNB will also be delisted. Binance has advised its users to make necessary adjustments or cancel their trading bots associated with these delisted pairs to prevent potential losses.

Shiba Inu’s status on Binance has been affected by a series of delistings, and the recent announcement is the latest in this trend. In March, Binance removed the SHIB/BUSD trading pair from its exchange. Prior to that, earlier in the year, Binance delisted the SHIB/GBP trading pair along with several others, such as ALPHA/BNB, ASTR/ETH, CELR/ETH, and DAR/ETH, effective January 6. Alongside these delistings, Binance also terminated strategy trading services for these pairs.

Navigating the Aftermath

It’s worth noting that despite the latest delisting, users still have the option to trade Shiba Inu using other available pairs on the platform. The SHIB/USDT pair, which had a trading volume of approximately $22.95 million, contributes to 15.45% of the total trading volume of this meme coin. Binance also provides SHIB/BUSD, SHIB/TRY, and SHIB/DOGE trading pairs for users.

As the delisting dust settles, traders are left to navigate the aftermath of this monumental decision. While the removal of trading pairs like SHIB/AUD may have rattled the Shiba Inu community, it is crucial to remember that alternative options remain available on the Binance platform.
