- Canary’s Hedera ETF recorded about $864,000 in net inflows on August 15.
- HBAR has recovered from roughly $0.065 and is holding near $0.08.
- Continued ETF demand and price stability will be crucial for any larger HBAR recovery.
Hedera’s HBAR has staged a notable recovery from its mid-August lows, but the next move remains uncertain. The token has climbed from roughly $0.065 to around $0.078-$0.08, while continued demand for a spot Hedera ETF is giving bulls another factor to watch.
The key question is whether HBAR can build on its latest advance or whether the move will prove to be another short-term rebound.
Hedera ETF Demand Strengthens the Bull Case
One of the clearest positives for HBAR is renewed interest through exchange-traded products. Canary’s spot Hedera ETF recorded approximately $864,000 in net inflows on August 15, according to SoSoValue.

The fund’s flow history is also notable. Since its launch, it has recorded only one day of net outflows, suggesting that investor demand has remained relatively consistent rather than being limited to a single session.
The ETF currently holds about $56.9 million in net assets, with its HBAR exposure estimated at roughly 1.7% of the token’s circulating supply.
That does not guarantee a price rally, but sustained ETF inflows could provide an additional source of demand if the trend continues.
HBAR Consolidates Near $0.08
HBAR’s price action is another factor supporting the recovery narrative. After falling toward $0.065 in mid-August, the token has moved higher and is now holding around the $0.078-$0.08 area.
Importantly, HBAR has not immediately surrendered its recent gains. Instead, the token has been consolidating near its latest highs, indicating that buyers have so far maintained control.
The Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) reading stands at 0.11, pointing to continued positive capital flows into the asset. Still, traders will need to see whether HBAR can maintain this strength rather than simply remain range-bound.

Hedera’s Network Design Adds a Different Angle
Hedera also differs from many blockchain networks in how governance and transaction ordering work. HBAR holders do not directly vote on protocol decisions. Instead, governance is handled by the Hedera Council, whose members operate nodes and participate in network decisions.
Hedera also uses consensus timestamps to establish transaction order based on when transactions are received by the network, rather than relying primarily on higher fees to determine priority.
These design choices do not directly establish a higher HBAR valuation, but they give the network a distinct infrastructure model as institutional interest develops.
For now, HBAR’s recovery has several encouraging signals: steady ETF demand, positive money-flow readings and an ability to hold recent gains.

However, a move back toward its previous $0.56 all-time high would require substantially stronger momentum. Continued ETF inflows and sustained support around current levels could strengthen the bullish case, while a renewed loss of momentum would put the recovery under pressure.
