VividQ Raises $7.5M To Make Holographic Displays A Reality For Consumers

Deeptech startup VividQ has secured an additional $7.5 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding to over $30 million. The round was led by Foresight Group LLP with participation from GameTech Ventures, Ruttenberg Gordon Investments (RGI), and existing investors.

VividQ is a pioneer in creating immersive 3D and holographic visual experiences. The company’s technology has the potential to transform industries such as gaming, automotive, and consumer electronics. By partnering with leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) like JVCKenwood, VividQ is integrating its advanced software and hardware solutions into augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), automotive head-up displays, and other devices.

“Spatial computing is on the rise, driven by advancements in generative AI and the release of innovative headsets like the Apple Vision Pro,” said Darran Milne, Founder and CEO of VividQ. “While many companies are facing technical challenges in achieving mass consumer adoption, VividQ’s technology offers the solutions they need to deliver truly immersive experiences.”

The new funding will enable VividQ to accelerate its product development roadmap and expand its global reach. The company plans to hire a U.S. lead and open a U.S. office in the coming year. Additionally, VividQ will be able to make its proprietary technology available to a wider range of business partners.

“VividQ has made significant strides in commercializing their groundbreaking computer-generated holography technology,” said Chris Wiles, Investment Director at Foresight Group. “We are excited to support their U.S. expansion plans and help them capitalize on the growing market for AR/VR hardware.”
