Business intelligence firm Strategy has reinforced its Bitcoin commitment with a $1.92 billion purchase of 22,048 BTC. This acquisition, announced by executive chairman Michael Saylor, highlights the company’s aggressive Bitcoin accumulation strategy.

Massive Bitcoin Purchase Details

Between March 24 and March 30, 2025, Strategy acquired 22,048 BTC at an average price of $86,969 per BTC, including transaction fees. The purchase was funded through proceeds from Class A Common Stock (MSTR), Perpetual Strike Preferred Stock (STRK), and Strife Preferred Stock (STRF) offerings.

Strategy’s Expanding Bitcoin Portfolio

With this latest purchase, Strategy now holds 528,185 BTC, further solidifying its position as the largest corporate Bitcoin holder. The company’s total investment in Bitcoin stands at $35.63 billion, with an average purchase price of $67,458 per BTC.

At Bitcoin’s current price of $82,655, Strategy’s Bitcoin stash is valued at approximately $43.66 billion, reflecting an unrealized profit of $8.03 billion. The company’s Bitcoin yield has surged 11% in 2025, despite significant market volatility.

Unrelenting Bitcoin Accumulation

This acquisition follows Strategy’s recent purchase of 6,911 BTC for $584.1 million, which pushed its Bitcoin holdings past the 500,000 BTC mark.

Despite its massive Bitcoin reserves, Strategy continues to expand its holdings. On March 25, 2025, the company launched the sale of 8.5 million STRF stock units, aiming to raise $722.5 million, part of which will be used for further Bitcoin acquisitions.
