Tech entrepreneur João Wedson announced the upcoming launch of “Nexus OS,” a new decentralized operating system designed to prioritize user privacy and data sovereignty. The project, which has been in development for three years, aims to provide an alternative to traditional, centralized platforms by leveraging blockchain technology for core system functions.

Architecture and Data Privacy

The primary technical distinction of Nexus OS lies in its decentralized architecture. Unlike mainstream operating systems that store user profiles and sensitive credentials on corporate servers, Nexus OS utilizes a distributed ledger to manage identity and permissions.
