Bitcoin (BTC) managed to prevent further losses, holding steady at $57K, while Ethereum (ETH) and Solana (SOL) traded strongly in the green. Notably, XRP showed heightened volatility, while smaller altcoins like Injective (INJ) and 1INCH experienced remarkable price surges over the last 24 hours.

The global crypto market cap saw a modest 0.77% increase to $2 trillion, reflecting a cautiously optimistic sentiment. However, the total market volume dipped by 2.06% to $64.33 billion. Let’s take a closer look at the top-performing cryptocurrencies and their movements today, September 5.

Bitcoin Price Today

Bitcoin regained its position above $57K, trading at $57,094, a 0.6% increase in value. Over the past 24 hours, BTC ranged between $56,196.38 and $58,511.57. Despite $37.29 million in Bitcoin ETF outflows as of September 4, the cryptocurrency’s resilience has sparked optimism among investors.

Bitcoin’s market dominance rose slightly to 56.40%, and its market cap currently stands at $1.13 trillion, signaling continued confidence in the market’s leading digital asset.

Ethereum Price Today

Ethereum also gained momentum, climbing 1.34% to $2,403. The second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap saw intraday lows and highs of $2,363.51 and $2,488.92, respectively. Despite $37.51 million in Ethereum ETF outflows as of August 4, ETH has maintained a steady upward trajectory. Ethereum’s market cap today is $290.27 billion.

Solana Price Today

Solana experienced a solid rally, surging nearly 3% to $132. The 24-hour low and high for SOL were $126.75 and $134.87, respectively. Its market cap currently stands at $61.64 billion, solidifying its position as one of the top gainers today.

XRP Price Today

XRP, known for its volatility, traded at $0.5536 at the time of writing, with a 24-hour low of $0.548 and a high of $0.5645. XRP’s turbulent price action has left investors watching closely. Its market cap sits at $31.13 billion.

Meme coins also regained some ground today. Dogecoin (DOGE) saw a modest 1% rise to $0.09667, while Shiba Inu (SHIB) gained 2%, trading at $0.00001339. PEPE, another notable meme coin, climbed 1.5% to $0.00000723, fueled by whale accumulation that sparked market optimism.

  • Notcoin (NOT): NOT slipped 5% to $0.00727, making it one of the worst performers today.
  • Toncoin (TON): TON fell 4.5% to $4.58.
  • THORChain (RUNE): RUNE experienced a sharp 10% drop to $3.63, continuing its downward trend.
