Ondo Finance has unveiled Ondo Global Markets, a new platform designed to provide tokenized access to more than 100 U.S. stocks and ETFs. The service targets non-U.S. investors across Asia-Pacific, Europe, Africa, and Latin America, aiming to lower barriers to international investment while leveraging blockchain technology.

Expanding Global Access to U.S. Securities
The platform allows users to trade tokenized shares of leading companies such as Apple, Tesla, and Nvidia, as well as a variety of ETFs. All assets are backed one-to-one by real securities held at U.S.-registered broker-dealers, ensuring transparency and credibility. While widely accessible, Ondo Global Markets currently excludes investors from the UK due to regulatory restrictions. By year-end, the platform plans to expand to more than 1,000 tokenized assets.
Strong Partnerships and Blockchain Integration
Ondo’s tokenized equities are supported by major crypto wallets, exchanges, and infrastructure providers including OKX Wallet, Trust Wallet, Bitget Wallet, Ledger, Gate, and 1inch. Chainlink oracles deliver reliable price feeds, while interoperability is enabled by LayerZero, allowing future expansion to Solana and BNB Chain. Additionally, Ondo announced a merger with Block Street, which specializes in institutional-grade liquidity for tokenized stocks—enabling borrowing and lending of tokenized assets to further boost efficiency.

Growing Tokenization Trend in Traditional Finance
The launch underscores a broader push to bring traditional finance on-chain. Earlier this year, Ondo and Pantera Capital allocated $250 million to real-world asset tokenization initiatives. Meanwhile, platforms like Gemini, Kraken, and Robinhood have rolled out similar offerings, signaling intensifying competition in the tokenized equities market. Ondo is also preparing to launch Ondo Chain, a Layer 1 blockchain designed to accelerate institutional adoption of tokenized financial products.
With Ondo Global Markets, international investors can gain seamless exposure to U.S. equities and ETFs through blockchain. This move highlights a growing global demand for tokenized securities, bridging traditional financial markets with decentralized technology.
